GARRETT GUNN
An occasionally talented writer, Garrett Gunn is a 10-year veteran of indie comics.
He is the creator/writer of Good Boy, Little Red Ronin, Warcorns: Combat Unicorns for Hire, Franklin and Ghost, Go West, I Hate You Please Die!, Murder bukkake, and Fangers.
He is currently published by a number of independent publishers including Source Point Press, Bad Bug Media, Blissful Pixels, Still Ill Comics, and Counterpoint Comics.
What was the first comic you bought?
The first book I remember buying regularly, and ultimately the book that made me fall in love with storytelling, was Ultimate Spider-Man #1.
Favourite types of story to write?
Honestly, the more absurd the better. For me, it's not about a specific genre, but about how far I can stretch the limits of the characters and their adventures.
Biggest artistic influences?
If we are talking writers, hands down it's R.L. Stine and J.R.R. Tolkien. Those dudes got me through alot.
