JULIAN TEDESCO
Julian Totino Tedesco was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1982, and he still resides there. He studied under Ariel Olivetti, Juan Bobillo a Marcelo Sosa and he started his professional career working for movie studios and advertising, and creating concept-art and backgrounds for animated movies.
In 2009, he started working for BOOM! Studios, an American comic-book publisher, creating interior art, and since then, he worked creating interiors and also cover art for several titles. During the last few years, and up until today, he works exclusively creating cover art for Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, Valiant and BOOM! Studios, among others.
What was the first comic you bought?
El Cazador, a comic book series from Argentina.
Favourite character to draw?
Ace Frehley, from KISS.
Biggest artistic influences?
Many! To narrow it down: J.C.Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell, Juan Bobillo ,Adam Hughes.
Favourite convention snack?
Cereal bars and coffee.
